Arriving at Penzance

Arrived in Penzance at approx. 10.30 last night after a long old 5 and a half hour train ride from Paddington.
I had to cycle through the town centre on my way to my hostel where I am staying and was welcomed by the Friday night drinkers/people going out and the town was pretty buzzing. So after a phonecall to the hostel to check where to go and finding my way there/dumping my stuf etc. I decided I'd go and explore the town's nightlife. My first impressions were great - The first pub I walked into was playing Cascada and a car driving past was blasting out some Ultrabeat - Oh Yes lol. By the time I'd walked back into town it was gone 11.30 and so I had to settle for a pizza from a kebab shop for dinner - thankfully it wasn't too bad and reasonably priced too - 7.5/10. So I wandered around the town centre eating my pizza looking for a good pub. Ended up going to a little club along the high st after a reccomendation from someone and got in fine despite wearing a t shirt, joggers and yellow trainers. So I got a few drinks (very reasonably priced) and got chatting to the cloakroom guy who was friendly as everyone seems to be down here. The club wasn't very busy but the cloakroom guy said that it would be much busier on Saturday as they would be celebrating the Olympic Torch passing through the town Saturday morning. So I decided to leave relatively early and came back to the hostel for some much needed sleep.
